SPK WVF: DIALOGO # 1

Cinema Spoutnik and Fonds Municipal d'Art Contemporain are this month inaugurating a sheduled appointment with cinema and audio/visual media. During this first edition, Twisted Realism, two artists Raphael Cuomo and Maria Iorio intend to compare two films MAMMA ROMA by Pierpaolo Pasolini and ANNA by Alberto Grifi and Massimo Sarchielli. The latter is an exceptional film, recently rediscovered thanks to the restored version by the Bologna Film Library in collaboration with the Associazione Alberto Grifi. The stars of the films were two actresses: a prostitute played by Anna Magnani and the outcast Anna, who after 10 years from each other, both live in the most underprivileged areas of Rome.
